Remembering the Brave Baloch Sisters Leading the Revolution

Write by – Lateef Johar

Today we take a moment to pay tribute to our brave sister Fazeela member of BSO-AZAD, cousin of martyred Raza Jahangir Baloch.  Former BSO-Azad secretary general Raza Jahangir Baloch embraced martyrdom on August 14th of 2013 when the occupier forces bombarded a town in Turbat with heavy weaponry.  Fazeela went on afterwards to protest the brutal killing of her cousin and Pakistans human rights violations in Occupied Balochistan.  When Mama Qadeer announced his long march in October of 2013, Fazeela was among the first to join him.

Regretfully, at times our memory has lapsed allowing our revered heroes to slip between the cracks.  Fazeela, although young, has shown vision and wisdom well beyond her age.  While we have become so occupied playing our respective roles in the revolution, we should take the time to appreciate her struggle.  We must never forget our inspirational heroes who are at the forefront of the struggle; and keep them in our hearts at all times.  It’s all of our responsibility to stand beside those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
